When you read this story it is as much an attack on Inez Brown as it is an attack on Nolden!

FLINT, MI – Flint resident and Third Ward city council candidate A.C. Dumas has filed a complaint with the Secretary of State seeking to have his opponent – council Vice President Bryant Nolden – taken off the November ballot.

The complaint alleges Nolden only had 37 valid signatures and that more than 200 signatures turned in shouldn’t be allowed because of mistakes.

Among the alleged mistakes are incorrect dates, a lack of signature on petitions and a claim that Nolden signed a petition he didn’t circulate.

Nolden declined comment on the complaint and the allegations.

"What Councilman Nolden did was he committed a fraud against the people," Dumas said. "I'm not paranoid. Maybe the people who checked it didn't know what they are supposed to check."

Flint City Clerk Inez Brown said she had not seen Dumas' complaint and declined comment.

The primary election for Flint City Council is Aug. 6 but Dumas and Nolden won’t appear on that ballot because they’re the only two candidates running in their ward.

A spokesman for the Secretary of State’s Office said he received Dumas’ complaint on Wednesday, July 31, and will review it.

Dumas is delusional. Can't wait to see BB blow him away in November.

Third Ward residents have been predicting an all out assault against Nolden by AC Dumas and his cohorts Eric Mays and Donna Poplar.

Eric Mays has told block clubs that he is working for the Third Ward and other wards as well as his First Ward race. He last bragged that e had over 200 absentee ballots collected in the First Ward. Dumas petition gatherers admitted they were being paid by Donna Poplar to collect signatures.

The City Clerk has no way of verifying who gathered petitions and signed them, so why the attack on Inez. The individual who posted on M-live attacking Nolden stated their experience gathering signatures so they should have known they were blowing smoke with many of their allegations.

Mays is apparently also working AVs in wards 2 and 7. Who is he supporting in those races? Will the numbers look fraudulent as all hell as they did in the Senate race in March when he was working for Stanley?
