Besides keeping the FPD staffing levels as high as possible, recalling the Mayor , keeping your eyes open and a cell phone handy,,, how about the offering of rewards for information leading to the arrest and conviction of persons committing serious crimes .? Perhaps a standing offer for a particular neighborhood.Word gets around. I've spoken to friends in law enforcement about this.The consensus is that Rewards can work.The problem is funding.. this is a soluble problem.Your thoughts?
