Lots of talk in the community about this housing project and inadequate plumbing, heating and other issues. This was a Land Bank/Salem Housing deal and it used federal money.
1. Was it inspected during construction?
2. If yes, were the inspections adequate?
Has the project been monitored and if it was, what were the findings?
The federal government has quality standards for any project using federal money. |

I've heard some rumbles about it, too. When I drive by there, I wonder how soundproof the connecting walls between the duplexes are. Probably not as solid as the walls in my house, which was built in 1917, with 2x4's that measure 2" x 4". |
