I don't see the silliness that Backagain sees in being concerned about the kids being taught to venerate Obama. Just today Juan Williams on FOX said that this alarming, so I guess he is just being silly too huh Backagain? He has THE AUDACITY OF HOPE and his other book out , he has teachers pumping him up in their classrooms, singing songs of praise about him. I see some scary trends here . And I never saw anyone pissing their pants at the mention of Ronald Reagan's name, and I knew some very devoted fans of his, so you are exaggerating there. And even if you aren't show me a video of that . We have several of the Obama worship songs and chanting documented, 0 for the alleged pant wetting of the Reagan followers. Since the days of Hitler people should see the dangers to building up a leader like Obama followers are doing to him . But to see the similarities is just being 'silly" huh?

There are a lot of similarities between Obama and Reagan. Sure, not in their policies (hehe) but in the cult figure status - absolutely. Reagan managed to come off as this amazing guy who KILLED communism! Who SAVED the economy! Who was this AMAZING hero of the people! Personally, I despised the guy, for all sorts of reasons, but I have met some crazy zealots. You know why a network television station cancels a movie about his life because it might offend some people (okay a lot of people) that he has attained quite successfully cult-hood.
...and don't even get me started on Juan Williams. I almost stopped listening to NPR because of that jackass. NOT because he is on Faux News, but rather because NPR doesn't tell their audience about potential conflicts of interest... you know there is something up when Faux is being more honest than NPR.

hey Backagain,, listen ,I never said he got them to do the venerating, I said he has them in sense that he doesn't seem to want to stop them from doing it. And I guess you know everything so you think you can label me a "teabagger" , , when did I ever post anything that said I was in that group?But a person like you likes to taxed to death, here is a soution, if you beleive in acause so frigging much you can always write a check to cover the costs for it, let everyone keep more of their money so they can support ideas, causes and ideas they really want to support. The old commie plan take someones income that they worked for and earned and redistribute a big chunk to the slackers so they will remain loyal at the voting booth.
