Now let me see, my first car was a '62 Studebaker Lark and I remember the American Motor Corporation but I don't recall all the wringing of hands, the gnashing of teeth and the "the sky is falling, the sky is falling". I am wondering why all the hoopla over GM and Chrysler? Also wondering why uncle sugar feels it necessary to bail out two of the big three?
I don't recall Pan American Airlines being bailed out or the above two auto manufactures. Why should we worry about the big 3?

Once they collapse America is pretty much officialy done for although right now the writing is legible on the wall to those literate in "traditional economics". I'm pretty sure GM is the biggest private healthcare provider in the U.S. That alone may be crippling to the economy but hey what's another trillion here and there when we're like $60 trillion in the hole. |
