Author    Post   Richard F L I N T O I D The Big-3 as of today are not getting a bail out. Congress wanted the UAW to make wage concessions and they refused. Congress wanted the Big-3 wages to be at the same rate as those of other car makers in the USA. UAW refused. UAW wage: $71.00 an hour Toyota wage: $49.00 an hour Now nobody will get anything. As I stated in several posts before: "Lost Your Job Yet?, Keep Buying Foreign!" Certainly seems to ring the truth now more than ever. She said the plants at Powertrain North - formerly the Buick complex are in chais. I can see it going away, dumping everyone into Medicare & Medicaid.
