I'm shocked to see that 61% of UAW workers are OPPOSED to concessions to contracts while 36% agree concessions will have to be made.
I guess concessions will be made when the Big-3 go bankrupt and the contracts are no longer valid.

The jobs bank will go. The one that concerns me is deferring the payments to the UAW-run health care fund that takes over all health care in 2010.
I think a lot of the opposition to concessions is related to the big guys asking for them in the past, with no reduction in their pay & benefits. |

Same concerns about healh care but, the CEO's all are forgoing their pay except for $1.00 a year. Easier for them though since they made millions last year.
Best of luck!

I'm not worried. If my pension & health care go away, I'll file bankruptcy and live off the taxpayers. |

I believe you hit it right on the head there Dave.
Amd Richard. Yeah I heard how they claim they will only take a dollar. I'm wondering how long that will last. And how far reaching that is? What about all the stock options? Being able to profit off buy Stock below Market value and being able to sell it at a garuenteed profit immediately. I believe that is another reason the company is in trouble. What about the Executives and officers Stock Options? See Example below.
