On the other hand, I understand the Japanese economy is holding up just fine. If GM made a car that lasted 180K miles (and still going) and got 35 miles per gallon, I would get it! But they don't, so I have my Civic. I average 26 mpg highway and 19 around town. Actually I'm disappointed on how well this car runs and will drive it until it goes no more for if it was a piece of junk I could sell it and get a new Dodge Challenger.
