My wife and kids like this show as well. Nearly everybody my wife talks to has seen this show too.

You know what's great about this show, and others like it? Not too long ago, when the three networks ruled TV, most shows sucked.

Even today, if you went to the networks and suggested a show like this, they would balk.

Today, think of all the great shows that everybody seems to know about, in spite of the fact that they are on small channels with little advertising.

Jon and Kate
Mythbusters
Cash Cab
Deadliest Catch
Monk

The list goes on... but they contain no frills, sex, gimmicks or exploding cars.
They're just real people and quirky stories, and the networks never would have given them the time of day.

When they show her belly sticking further and further out at the beginning of the show, it's one of the scariest things I have ever seen... Wink

I take it that you are not a father and haven't seen labor and delivery up close then....<evil grin>

I think that I have gotten "more picky" about the shows that I watch since I have become a mom. I only have three kids and two dogs.....I watch a show like the Duggar Family where the woman has 20 million kids, look at her house and feel inept. So in order to thwart that feeling I don't watch reality family shows. Smile Smile

I really like Little People-Big World. Take about overcoming issues this family has done it.
