If I tried that with our cats I'd be heading to the ER for stitches. Ours are indoor cats only.

I did that with my dearly beloved Maine Coon when we first got married and walked him down the street, I about caused an accident one day!! He was bigger than our smallest dog. BC (Big Cat) weighed in at 23 lbs.

This cat in the avatar is mine, funny little gal, if I don't lock the screen door she opens it with her claws and gets out and sleeps under the deck. The beagle/doxon mixed dog waits for her to open it and then runs free chasing the neighborhood killdeer!! Argh. I can't wait for him to go after the geese....then he'll get what he deserves for running off......muwhahahaha.

That new one twotap is a little thing!!!

WHAT!?

Back in 1970 we rescued a very small cat. She had a litter about 5 weeks later. Her last kitten died in 93 - we got them spayed/neutered. It was fun watching a cat family grow up. Mom, was always mom.

We have two cats now, someone had found them in a boat and we hand-fed them. Got the male neutered; can't wait to get the female spayed! She's very vocal, plus she's like a minature cat, only weighs a few pounds. Her brother?? is a moose, at 15# and gaining. We've had them 4 years.

Right now I"m listening to LilGirl in heat; the dog I'm watching who isn't used to cats chasing them (they like the game); my dog is having fun getting in to the chase; and my bird is squaking at all the chaos and wants me to get him out of his cage. LOL At least the turtle doesn't make noise!

I have to leave to get ready for work; ahhhh soon there will be silence, wonderful silence!

Blessings everyone!
