RESOLUTION TO COMPLETE TOWING FOR TOWING AND STORAGE
On May 23, 2011, City Council authorized the Proper City Officials to enter into
change order#2 to the contractwith Complete Towing, 3401 N. Dort Hwy., Flint, Michigan for towing
and storage of vehicles whereas said vendorwould paythe City 20% of the gross revenue from the
impound vehicle auction and extended said contract to December31, 2015; and
The Emergency Managerand the Purchasing Department are requesting to amend
said contract to reflect the following terms:
Complete Towing agrees to continue to pay the City 20% of the gross
revenue received from the impound vehicle auction.
Complete Towing agrees to pay the City hired auctioneer up to 5% of the
gross revenue received from the vehicle impound auction; and
IT IS RESOLVED that the Proper City Officials, upon the Emergency Managers
approval, are herebyauthorized to enter into change order#3 to the contract with Complete Towing
for towing and storage of vehicles in order to amend the contract to reflect that said vendor will pay
the City 20% of the gross revenue received from the vehicle impound auction and said vendor will
also paythe City hired auctioneer up to 5% of the gross revenue received from the vehicle impound
auction.

I still hear people in the community ask whether the Emergency Manager is bringing back the impound business. Brown let the community believe it was a possibility during the public hearings. Forget it as the contract was renewed over two months ago.
