For being in the top 5 most dangerous cities one would be shocked to hear we had only 5 cops on the street 2 weeks ago. Mayor Walling is out of control and needs to be stopped. Wake up residents this guy is worse than Mayor Williamson. |

Where was the union? There are minimum staffing levels that are required to be met.
Or is the budget that out of whack? |

This post is completely false. There are minimum staffing levels for each shift which are followed. If there aren't enough officers scheduled, the shift commander holds officer over on overtime to cover the shortage. Minimum for each shift is at least 9. It appears Mole is really digging for topics to stir the pot with. |

I received word that the mole is correct. It happened under Williamson and with a budget crisis it could happen here. No $ in the overtime budget. |

I was downtown at Blackstones and a cop was in the bar. I asked him if it could be possible for less than 9 cops to be on the street at a time or shift. He said absolutely because of layoffs, shift changes, sickness, major crimes, days off etc. He told me that only 8 cops were on street last week one day. |

Bossman who sets these requirments? Is it the same people that say the fire department has to have so many people working, or attending a fire?
