BUSH ANGER: OBAMA AIDES LEAK CHAT DETAILS

Just hours after President Bush and President-elect Obama met in the Oval Office of the White House, details of their confidential conversation began leaking out to the press, igniting anger from the president, sources claim.
"Senator Obama would be wise to keep close counsel," a top Bush source warned.
"BUSH AND OBAMA AT ODDS OVER AID FOR AUTO INDUSTRY," splashed the NEW YORK TIMES in an exclusive Monday evening, quoting "people familiar with the discussion."
The two met at the White House in private, without staff.
"Bush indicated at the meeting that he might support some aid and a broader economic stimulus package if Obama and congressional Democrats dropped their opposition to a free-trade agreement with Colombia," claimed the TIMES.

The ASSOCIATED PRESS quickly followed with details of the conversation, citing "aides who described the discussion on grounds of anonymity, citing the private nature of the meeting."
Bush advisers view the leaks as an effort to undermine the president's remaining days in office.
"Senator Obama may not be familiar with a long-standing tradition of presidents holding their private conversations, private," a senior adviser explained to the DRUDGE REPORT. |

| Well, this batter just "walked" in 365 "runs". What big secret did he leak, anyways? President Bush has been saying for weeks that he isn't going to help the auto industry, this isn't news. I guess he only likes to give tax money to industries when it saves only white collar jobs. He supports saving bankers and stock traders, but not auto workers. I hope he changes his mind soon, because it doesn't look like GM is going to make it til January 20 without some help. |

Oh Well I did not join Flint Talk to have personal online
battles with anyone. So I am going to stay with the many
Political issues, and like I stated before do away with the
politicians (regardless to party affiliation) who damaged
the auto world.
As a Grassroot/Independent member I will always lean
to the Democratic side. Governor Granholm will always
appear as a failer in the eyesight of you many John Angler
supporters, and during the time that she was voted in as
the Governor she has been cleaning up Angler's shit he
left in the State Capital.
Why point fingers at Obama for saying what he said about
Nancy. When there has been plenty of your kind calling
people the N word, but was forced to apologize openly, and
the keyword is (wasn't forced) to say I am sorry. We all say
things that we should not say, or twist things to start shit, and
tell me how many of us are willing to apologize when we are
wrong?
In closing, I really believe that all this anger that's showing is
in resentment that the Republicians losted. As long as Hillary
was dogging Obama NOBODY said nothing in favor of Obama,
and now that Obama made a statement about Nancy Reagan
everyone is ganging up on Obama, and President Obama know
what he's doing that's why he was elected as President. |

Ok, TT, I'm going to explain what they have to do with each other.
Drudge was looking for a hot story. If he had just chosen the B chick and left it is a possible story, it would be unobjectionable. However, he made it in about 96 font and had an indignant tone about how it was a big coverup.
You're wrong about CNN, they didn't report it until the police came out and said it was false.
Now, in regards to the story you posted, the first part is true. The problem was with the highly tainted closer, where the Drudge informant characterizes it as some break with tradition, undignified by implication. The truth is that there is no precedent for a transition like this; most presidents don't really meet in any serious way before the inauguration.
These are the best of times, these are the worst of times. The leak is surely intentional, probably because not many presidents are willing to carry out a vendetta against working class people like auto workers (no bailout here), whose industry he helped drive to bankruptcy with his energy policy, just because he doesn't get his pussy Colombian free trade agreement. People need to know.
Just like people need to know that he's racing to dump environmental regulations and expand his legacy. Disgusting. |
