I was flored tonight at the Flint Community Schools Facilities Advisory Commtitee to hear a story about a ceiling collapse at Flint community schools 5 or 10 years ago. The mortar ceiling collapsed. Forunately it had been a half day otherwise the students would have still been in class. The steel desks were flattened to the ground. The students and teachers skulls would have likely been crushed. Temporary repairs were made across the district. The life span of those temporary repairs may have already expired. |
