. Tom Joubran helped him buy this house which is one block east of Ballenger. The property remains in the name of a deceased man, but the paper trail is in the Register of Deeds.

He used this address in all of his recent cases and not the Russell Street address of his mother.

If Tom Joubran helped him to buy this house it is not recorded at the Register of Deeds - maybe an unrecorded land contract? Whomever is responsible, is not paying the property taxes on time. I question how his mother could quit claiim the property to him after she had already sold it to Joubran for $10,000.

City of Flint shows current owner of 2824 Mackin Road as Burt G Hiel (name reversed), with 100% homestead exemption. Hiel Garmon Burt died 05/31/1984; his Last will & Testament was filed in the Genesee County Probate Court on 07/11/1998 though it doesn't show probate of estate. Possibly a pourover will into a trust? His wife Thelma Roxie (Bellinger) Burt predeceased him on 06/30/1981. Did he possibly have a son with the same name? Unable to find any indication of current existence of this person except through Flint City Treasurer's assessment.

G. Burt.] I see no indication of Burt's ownership involvement except by the payment of delinquent taxes.

In a deposition Joubran claimed he was helping Eric Mays by buying the house and selling it to him on a land contract. Joubran admitted Mays was behind in payments. Joubran discussed how Eric was unable to manage his own money because of his gambling. He admitted to financing a Comcast show for Eric . Eric had the contents of each show approved by Joubran and used the show t attack a mutual enemy of his and Joubran. Eric claimed he and Joubran had been friends since he was a teenager.

Alonzo Goodman is one of Eric's best friends. Alonzo bought the house from a relative. The price kept going up until it reached Joubran. I suspected that everyone involved got a piece of the pie.

Since it seems like people here in Flint like to talk about residency (Scott Smith, Delrico Loyd, Josh Freeman, etc), why hasn't anybody brought this one to the media?

Eric Mays will self destruct himself. His residency may be only one issue as he still owes previous fines.

Mays has a habit of stalking and attempting to intimidate those who cross him. He has chased city council into their offices. Kerry Nelson filed a PPO against Mays when Mays was lobbying for a project.
