Can someone please explain to me how it works, how it differs from face-to-face counseling (is it better), and what are the reliable online counseling platforms available? It is preferred by those people with physical limitations or those who are having a hard time making it out of their homes to see a face-to-face counselor. It is just more convenient at times and you have the option to stay anonymous if you don't want to reveal your identity. You can check out more details at Counseling on Demand or Better Help. I actually looked into https://www.betterhelp.com/advice/therapy/talking-therapies-how-talk-therapy-can-help-you-in-treatment/ and Better Help appears to be a good platform to consider getting talk therapy or something.
